Update Verizon Moto E 2015 To Latest Android 5.1 Lollipop

Good news for users of Verizon Moto E 2015 prepaid, as the phone is getting the latest android 5.1 Lollipop software version 23.11.17. This latest update brings  access to apps and Android services on other connected screens like TVs, cars and android wear. The new material design offers complex animations and 3-D views, 64-bit ABI support and improved android runtime.

UI Improvements

Volume settings panel icons added to match icons in status bar. Now you can quickly select different WiFi accessory or Bluetooth devices with the added pull-down controls. Minimum swipe distance increased to reduce accidental interactions if Ambient Display is enabled.

New Interruption Controls

• Use the new interruption volume control settings to prevent missed
• alarms.
• Block interruptions until your next alarm
• Available when next scheduled alarm is within 12 hours
• Enter a scheduled downtime early
• Available when the next scheduled downtime within four hours

Notification Volume Control Access

• Change notification volume while media is playing by selecting new
• bell icon to show notification volume controls. 

Factory Reset Protection

If you have lost your Verizon Moto E 2015 then it will remain locked even after doing a factory reset. The only way to unlock the phone is by entering the Google Account password. In the meantime you can track the lost phone via android device manager.

How To Update

• Go To 'Settings>About device'.
• Tap 'Software update'.
• If an update is available then download it and install.
• Wait for few minutes.
