It started the year 2013 with an average daily circulation of 5,25,000 copies, and it is increasing day by day. According to the National Media Survey 2012, conducted by SIRIUS Marketing and Social Research Ltd., 5.1 million people read the print edition of Prothom Alo every day, and in a week this newspaper is being read by more than 9.6 million people.

It is published by Transcraft Limited but it is owned by Mediastar Limited. There is a one man behind the all scene known as very popular publisher and editor of Prothom-alo Matiur Rahman.
