Saffron: lowers cholesterol, increases oxygen in the blood, reduces blood pressure, and stimulates the uterus. Pregnant women should avoid large amounts. It may also promote menstruation.

Parsley: is a diuretic which helps high blood pressure, and PMS. It is high in antioxidants so it is good for treating cancer. It neutralizes the carcinogens in cigarette smoke. It is a breath freshener, stimulates the uterus to promote menstruation, inhibits allergies and lowers fevers. Pregnant women should eat only culinary or cooking amounts.

Ginger: is used for nausea and motion sickness. It also prevents headaches, is an antibiotic  and anti-inflammatory. It boosts cholesterol (the good kind) and lowers LDL cholesterol (the bad kind).
